Family Halloween Party

Twas the night before Halloween and all through the house, no one was quiet, not even a mouse! Lets just say that our family parties are never dull, and this one was no exception. Every year we get together on Halloween, so that the cousins can trick-or treat and see each other in their costumes. This year we changed it up a bit. We got together the night before Halloween so that we didn't have to do so much dang running around, trying to squeeze everything in to one night. Everyone dressed up (except Grandpa Roy, who we will easily excuse, and Grandma and Grandpa, serious party poopers!!) But by far the best costume, which I think will give me nightmares, was James (with Melissa coming in at a close 2nd) . Can anyone say "Chester the Molester"? James and Mindi planned an awesome donut game that was a big hit. The kids had so much fun. The just giggled and giggled watching each other other try to eat the donut off the string. Davis got locked in the bathroom for a while. When I found him he had been sobbing and, of course, wiped all of his skeleton make-up off. Poor guy. It was a great night filled with chili and soup, lots of diet coke, and some goodies too. :)
